what is a good way to get started in the vending machine business?

any tips you can give me? any help would be great

Most important thing is finding hi-volume foot public traffic sites and establishing relationships (exclusivity agreements) with the managers and owners of those properties.. In Fact I would hold off on purchasing/leasing any equipment before you secure at least enough contracts to cover your break even costs.

Be prepared for resistance form owners/managers, locked out because of agreements with bigger vendors, owners/managers requesting ridiculous % from your take.. Its like any business everyone involved wants a cut and everyone wants to maximize there cut..

Focus on your negotiation skills, try to get all the equipment leased and always be on the look out for new spots

best of luck

The best way is to buy someones already placed machines. That eliminates you having to place each and every machine in a location yourself. When you buy the vending machines from someone make sure that what ever money that they say they are making is true. Ask them to show you proof so that way you know what you can expect monthly. Go atleast as far back as six months because some months are better than others. If your looking to start with new machines then you could find many websites that sell the machines brand new or you could get them off ebay.
